Description:

This overnight bag is designed for easy assembly and features an individual spark. Material:

Exterior Fabric A:
Approximately 20” x 20” of either Cork, Vinyl, Faux leather or heavy weight curtain fabric. (Note: you may need more if you chose a fabric with a one way design)

Exterior Fabric B:
Approximately 16” x 56” of either Cork, Vinyl, Faux leather or heavy weight curtain fabric. (Note: you may need more if you chose a fabric with a one way design)

Note: If you’re making your first bag on a domestic sewing machine, consider starting with a lighter-weight fabric. This allows you to get comfortable with your machine’s capabilities, especially when handling challenging areas like attaching the ends of the bag. Testing with a lighter fabric will help ensure smoother sewing experience and reduce strain on your machine as you build confidence in tackling tougher seams.

Lining Fabric:
Approximately 23” x 35” of either heavy weight woven fabric or waterproof touch-dry fabric.

Note: Adding interfacing to the lining body of your bag is optional but can provide extra structure. Keep in mind, however, that interfacing adds bulk to the seams. To make final topstitching easier, avoid applying interfacing to the top 1 inch of the bag. This will help minimize seam thickness, making it smoother and more manageable for those finishing stitches. Use a woven interfacing to avoid unsightly wrinkles.
Interfacings/Stabilizers:

Approximately 17” x 6” of fusible fleece; sometimes also known as Pallum. This product is available in many widths so you may need to adjust your quantity.

Approximately 18” x 7” of Iron-on interfacing (This does not include interfacing the lining which is optional).

Approximately 23” x 26” of Bubble Foil stabeliser

Approximately 26” x 14” of wadding
